Policies & terms
Plain-language summary of how our charters work. Your booking confirmation includes the full charter agreement.
Charters operate as bareboat charters: you rent the vessel, and you separately contract a USCG-licensed captain who is paid directly and independently of the boat rental. We provide a list of approved captains familiar with the boats. The captain has full authority over the vessel's safe operation at all times.
Cancellation & refunds
Cancel 24 hours or more before departure: full refund minus a 4% payment-processing fee (the card processor does not return this fee to us).
Cancellations within 24 hours of departure, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Rescheduling to another available date is free with 24+ hours notice.
Weather
If the captain determines conditions are unsafe (storms, small-craft advisories), you choose a free reschedule or a full refund.
Light rain or heat alone does not cancel a trip — boats have covered lounge areas. The weather call is made by the captain, typically the morning of the charter.
Payments, deposits & gratuity
The boat rental is paid in full at booking. The captain is contracted and paid separately, directly to the captain.
A refundable $500 damage deposit applies only when grill or oven use is requested; it is returned after the boat checks in clean and undamaged.
Gratuity for captain and crew is required and not included in the rental price — 15–20% of the charter total is standard.
Capacity & guests
Maximum 13 guests per catamaran, including children and infants — every person aboard counts, per USCG regulations.
Guests under 21 may not consume alcohol. The captain may end a charter early, without refund, if intoxication or behavior creates a safety risk.
On-board rules
No glass of any kind (bottles, cups, containers) — transfer drinks to cans, boxes or plastic before boarding.
No smoking or vaping of any kind, including e-cigarettes.
No weapons of any kind. No illegal substances.
No confetti, glitter or loose feathers — marina environmental fines are passed to the booking party.
Excessive mess or damage beyond normal use may be charged against the deposit or card on file.
Timing
Charters begin and end at the reserved times. The clock starts at the reserved departure time whether or not all guests have arrived — please arrive 15 minutes early.
On-water extensions in 1-hour increments may be available at the posted hourly rate, subject to the captain and the day's schedule.
